CAMBRIDGE, NS - The Central Kings Gators Senior Boys’ Basketball Team has been busy preparing for the upcoming season.
The team will kick off the new season at home on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m., when they play host to Annapolis West Education Center at the CK gym.
This year’s squad is young, with only three returning players, along with nine new faces, seven of whom are in Grade 9 and 10. Coaches are Paul Daley, Dana Pineo and Dwayne Keddy.
The roster includes Grade 11 players Alex and Nathan Parnell, Hayden Shepard , Mason Jones and Ethan MacDougall. Grade 10 players are Pearson Holmes and Issac Moores.
Grade 9 newcomers include Andrew Pineo, Lance Keddy, David McLean, Nolan Ogden and Thomas Clarke.
The Gators host their annual Tip Off tournament on Nov. 24-25. This year’s tournament is a six-team event with visitors including the Horton JV Boys, Pugwash, Forest Heights, Millwood High School and West Kings High School.
