CLYDE RIVER, SHELBURNE COUNTY, NS – Clyde River Motocross Track and Trails (CRMX) held its first ride day of the season on April 14, attracting motocross and ATV riders from along the south shore and as far away as New Brunswick to go for a spin at the 1.8-kilometre sand track facility just off Highway 103 between Clyde River and Goose Lake.

CRMX is owned by Shag Harbour businessman and motocross enthusiast Tyler Nickerson, who has been joined by other local motocross enthusiasts in bringing the track back to life after the property set vacant for a few years.

This will be CRMX’s second year of operation. Nickerson’s goal is to promote and grow the sport in the local area by having a well-run facility, with a priority on safety.

Weekly pre-scheduled ride days, family days, riding courses, and special race events will be on the schedule throughout the season. CMRX memberships are available for purchase.

The CRMX track is adjacent to the Shelburne County Mud Munchers off-road racing venue.
