The tournament opens on Thursday, Dec. 10 with back-to-back Par-en-Bas Sharks versus Yarmouth Vikings games.
The female Sharks take on the female Vikings in the Cook’s Cup girls division at 6 p.m. on Thursday, with the Sharks and Vikings boys’ teams taking to the ice at 7:30 p.m.
Play continues on Friday and Saturday, with the championship game set for 3 p.m. on Sunday. (See schedule below)
There are eight boys teams in the tournament. The other teams are Sir John A, NKEC (Northeast Kings), West Kings, Park View, Eastern Shore and last year’s reigning Cook’s Cup champs, Prince Andrew.
The girls division is made up of three girls teams with Avon View rounding out that division.
This is the eighth year the Cook’s Cup tournament will take place. The tournament serves as a fundraiser for the Yarmouth Vikings hockey program.
