They won 6-0.
The East, featuring Avon View head coach Mark Tye and Forest Heights head coach Scott Gebb guiding players from their own teams as well as from Parkview, Bridgewater, Horton, and Northeast Kings, took a 1-0 first period lead. They scored four times in the second period against the West, which consisted of schools from Central Kings, West Kings, Bridgetown, Digby, Yarmouth, Pars en Bas and Barrington.
The West had a six-minute power-play with 12 minutes to go in the game but could not take advantage as the East scored their sixth and final goal.
Bryden Dunphy, from Horton, was named the game MVP for the East. He scored two of the six goals.
Avon View goaltender William Earley did not see a lot of action in the third period, but the couple of times he was called upon, he looked razor sharp.
Earley shared the shutout win with netminders from Forest Heights and Northeast Kings.
The Avalanche's Ben Davidson left the game with an unnamed injured.

In the girls’ all-star game, Avon View's Sam Lake scored once and added an assist, while Alisha Burns collected a pair of assists in helping the East win 6-4 over the West.
The East held period leads of 2-0 and 3-1.
Avon View’s Zoe Miller and Natalie Rippey also played for the East team. Keagan Curry Hiltz, from Horton, was named the MVP for the East for her three-goal performance.
