The West Hants Minor Baseball Association was pleased with the summer performance of the Windsor Knights midget AA baseball team.

The Knights won the provincial gold in Shelburne, while competing against the Pictou County Albions. The game went three extra innings to break the tied game, with Windsor finally claiming a 7-6 victory over Pictou.

The Knights went on to represent Nova Scotia at the Atlantic Championships in Prince Edward Island.
