Wildcats host successful Peewee AAA event in Kentville

The Hammonds Plains A's defeated the Tri County Rangers 13-6 in the June 29 final of the Peewee AAA Invitational, which was held in Kentville.

The Kentville Wildcats were 3 and 0 after round robin play but got eliminated from the title game with a 14-2 loss to Tri County on June 29.  Ethan MacDougall picked up the loss on the hill while getting relief help from Layton Cuvilier and Kyle Woodworth. 

Woodworth has two hits for the cats, while Bryce Dauphinee, Seth Routledge, Ethan MacDougall and Ben McNutt all had hits at the plate.  McNutt was the player of the game.

On June 27, Kentville beat Bridgewater 7-3, with CJ Martin picking up player of the game honours. 

The ‘Cats scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh June 28 to beat Tri County 8-7, with Cuvilier picking up the player of the game award.  That evening, the ‘Cats beat up on Riverview 12-2 and Routledge was named player of the game.
