Arthur keeps police on the move

Annapolis RCMP have plenty to report this week.

The Annapolis RCMP received 130 calls from June 30 to July 7. Among these were: 16 false 911s, one false alarm, 14 traffic matters, and five domestic disputes. Following a few of these calls:

-- June 30 at 11:21 a.m. Nictaux. Report of a break and enter, a Honda 400 ATV stolen, the matter is under investigation.

-- June 30 at 1:35 p.m. Nictaux. A marihuana grow is reported, police attended and seized 18 marihuana plants.

-- June 30 at 6:31 p.m. Paradise. A suspicious person is reported, a patrol was made but nothing was amiss.

-- July 1 at 7:48 a.m. Lawrencetown. A break and enter is reported, food was taken

-- July 1 at 4:46 p.m. Paradise. A collision between an ATV and a farm tractor is reported, minor injuries.

-- July 2 at 2:49 a.m. Middleton. Police receive a report of a person entering a property and searching through vehicles. A possible suspect has been identified and the investigation continues

-- July 2 at 3:43 a.m. Nictaux. Police receive a report of a violation of conditions of house arrest

-- July 2 at 11:56 a.m. Lawrencetown. Suspicious activity is reported, a patrol was made but the individuals had left the scene

-- July 2 at 5:40pm – Middleton – Police Services Dog conducting training exercise when they happened across a marihuana grow, 13 marihuana plants seized

-- July 3 at 532 p.m. Bear River. A collision between a deer and vehicle is reported, no injuries, deer deceased

-- July 3 at 10:25 p.m. Middleton. Police receive a report of a peeping tom

-- July 4 at 4:35 p.m. Bridgetown. Police receive a report of sheep on the road, a patrol was made and the owner located and herded sheep back home

-- July 4 at 4:41 p.m. Lawrencetown. A single vehicle collision is reported, a motorcycle went off the road, road slick due to rain at the time. The driver was uninjured and the motorcycle sustained only minor damage.

-- July 4 at 11:50 p.m. Bridgetown. A driver is facing charges after a police traffic stop.

-- July 5 at 8:25 a.m. Nictaux. Report of trees down on power lines due to storm

-- July 5 at 732 a.m. Inglisville. Report of trees and power lines down

-- July 5 at 9:19 a.m. Springfield. Report of a large tree down across the highway

-- July 5 at 9:57 a.m. Nictaux. Report of trees down blocking the highway

-- July 5 at 1:49 p.m. Centerlea. Report of trees down blocking the road

-- July 5 at 2:01 p.m. Cornwallis. Report of trees down blocking the road

-- July 5 at 2:22 p.m. Paradise. Report of trees down blocking the road

-- July 5 at 2:28 p.m. Mount Rose. Report of tress down blocking the road

-- July 5 at 3:04 p.m. Brickton. Report of a downed power line

-- July 5 at 3:32 p.m. North Williamston. Report of trees and power lines down

-- July 5 at 4:17 p.m. Bridgetown. Report of a tree down blocking the road

-- July 5 at 4:29 p.m. Middleton. Report of trees and power lines down

-- July 5 at 4:29 p.m. Cornwallis. Report of tress, power lines and a transformer down on road

-- July 5 at 4:50 p.m. Brickton. Report of trees and power lines totally blocking the road

-- July 5 at 4:59 p.m. Victoria Vale. Report of trees and power lines down on road

-- July 5 at 5:18 p.m. Granville Center. Report of trees down on highway

-- July 5 at 5:47 p.m. Meadowvale. Report of wires down and branches through the roof of a residence, Kingston Fire, NSP also responded

-- July 5 at 5:56 p.m. Nictaux Falls. Report of tress down on road

-- July 5 at 6:48 p.m. Spa Springs. Report of trees down blocking road

-- July 5 at 6:32 p.m. Wilmot. Report of trees blocking road

-- July 5 at 5:23 p.m. Nictaux South. Report of trees down across highway

-- July 5 at 6:12 p.m. South Williamston. Report of a power pole and wires down across road

-- July 5 at 7:28 p.m. Albany. Report of trees down across road

-- July 5 at 8:04 p.m. Port Lorne. Report of trees down across road

-- July 5 at 9 p.m. Melvern Square. Report of wires down across road

-- July 6 at 1:01 a.m. Munroe Lake. Report of trees blocking highway

-- July 6 at 328 a.m. Albany Cross. Report of power lines and trees down on highway

-- July 6 at 6:18 a.m. Granville Ferry. Citizen reporting a sewer backup, Public works assisting

-- July 6 at 1:32 p.m.  West Dalhousie. Report of trees down on property and roadway causing a major blockage

-- July 6 at 10:46 p.m. Middleton. Report of possible break and enter, no B&E, building damaged in the storm

-- July 7 at 4:45 a.m. Middleton. Assist EHS with a medical emergency
