Raymond Beverly RUDOLPH

Of Larry's River, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, September 8, 2018, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born on September 14, 1929, in Port Bickerton, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Alexander and Mahala (Dingle) Rudolph. Raymond worked 47 years in the fishing industry and drove a truck for many years. He enjoyed a good game of crib and following the local variety concerts; member of Stormont Lodge No. 96 and Eastern Light Lodge No. 72, Guysborough; member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay and held various positions over the years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth (Darr); daughter, Amelda (James) Gray, Middle Sackville; sons, Warren (Carol), Victoria, B.C.; Karl, Antigonish; grandchildren, Danielle Rudolph; Beverley (Tim) Poole; T.J.(Joanne) Gray; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mae Rudolph, Evelyn Rudolph; many nieces and nephews. Raymond was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Diane Rudolph; grandson, Joel Rudolph; brothers, Owen (Clair), Basil, Brent; sisters, Florence (Ed) Onslow, Eleanor (Earl) Pullman, Roberta (William) Kawecki, Geneva (Chesley) Kaiser. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay with Rev. Susan Slater officiating. Interment at a later date in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Port Bickerton. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, Tor Bay or Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
