Phyllis Barr — Comox

Phyllis June Barr Nov. 29, 1935 – Nov. 26, 2017 Our precious wife and mother passed away peacefully in her Comox home after a courageous 15-year battle with Alzheimers. Her husband of 64 years Donald and her daughter Shelley were by her side. For all who knew her she was a shining light for Jesus who she loves with all her heart. Phyllis was born in Digby, N.S. and is predeceased by parents Meda and Curtis Cook and sisters Dorothy Bent and Ruth Garland. A Funeral Service was held at Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C., on Friday, December 1st, followed by interment at Courtenay Civic Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Phyllis’ memory to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
