Mary Angeline DRYSDALE

Mary Angeline Drysdale
Age 67 of Walton, who recently resided in Maitland under the care of her sister and family, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 17, 2018 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Mary was a daughter of Madeline and the late William Drysdale. She was a ray of sunshine and was loved by all who knew her. She loved country music and would often be found cranking the radio, singing her heart out while watching herself in the mirror. Spending time in her beautiful garden caring for the hens and chickens and watching her favourite soap operas were things she enjoyed. She will be deeply missed by her beloved mother; loving brothers and sisters, Bill Drysdale (Pat), Amherst; Sam Drysdale (Dianne), Dartmouth; Alice Baldasso, Halifax; Lalia Crossley (Kirk), Maitland; Deanna Harvey (Shawn), Kennetcook; aunt, Donna Atwood, Noel; uncle, Alison "Cookie" Drysdale; many nieces, nephews, extended family and her special fur baby, Susie. Predeceased by her brother, Edward Drysdale. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Team, doctors and nurses of Truro and Halifax for their exceptional compassion and genuine care. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20th from 2-4 p.m. and Friday, September 21st from 12-1 p.m. immediately followed by a Chapel Service at 1 p.m., all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Burial following the service in Oakridge Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited back to the funeral home to share memories of Mary during an informal reception. For those wishing, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre would be appreciated.
