George Mclellan — Windsor

George Mclellan
McLellan, George Fraser, age 61, of Kempt Shore, Hants County, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Fraser and Etta (O’Brien) McLellan. George worked at Shaw Corporation until his health forced him retire. He liked to fish and hunt with his cousins, Randy and Timmy. George also loved his gardens. He is survived by his son, Kenny (Hannah Bridges), Kempt Shore; daughters, Roxane McLellan (Bobby), Windsor; Karen McLellan (Donnie Barnaby), Windsor; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Marlene Lake, Dartmouth; Pam Hanes, Waterville; Katheryn McLellan, Windsor; Brenda (Lloyd) Barton, Saint John, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughter, Sara Deanna Pearl. Visitation was held 1:30 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, in the Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0, with funeral service following at 3 p.m. in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bert Walsh officiated. Burial was in the Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
