Emilia 'Mimi' Radzikowski

Emilia ‘Mimi’ Radzikowski passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2018 at age 67. Born in Sydney, NS she was a daughter of Victoria and the late Wincenty Radzikowski. Mimi received degrees in Sociology and Social Work at Dalhousie University. For over 20 years she was a Social Worker, specializing in the field of addiction treatment. Most recently, Mimi worked at Statistics Canada. A life-long learner, she was interested in a wide variety of topics, including cooking and writing. As a non-judgemental person, she gave her time to everyone without complaints. Mimi's positive and hard-working attitude will be carried on by those she has left behind including her mother, Victoria; daughter, Suzanne Sangiovese (Ali Mazaheri); siblings, Pauline (Tony) Wenham, Angela Radzikowski and Vincent (Anna) Radzikowski; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11 from 6-9 p.m. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no service.
