SUMMERVILLE – The Queens County District RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for vandalism to public property at Summerville Beach. 

Sometime between May 16 and May 23, someone damaged doors to the change house and men’s outhouse and jammed a post into a toilet at Summerville Beach Park. The damage is estimated to be less than $200.

Anyone who knows about this incident is asked to contact the Queens County RCMP Detachment at 902-354-5721.

Anyone with information about this who would like to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers any time at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Calls to crime stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 to $2,000. 

Tipsters can also submit secure tips by going to the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimstoppers.ns.ca.
