The collision between a Honda Civic and the motorcycle occurred south of Wolfville on the Greenfield Road.
A 911 call alerted Kings RCMP at 2:21 p.m. to the crash that took place near an embankment. Const. Kelli Gaudet said the motorcyclist was thrown into the woods area near the road.
Firefighters from Wolfville firefighters assisted in getting the man out of the woods. They also set up a landing zone for the LifeFlight helicopter.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The occupants of the Honda were not hurt.
The road was closed between Ridge Road and White Rock Road as an RCMP traffic analyst worked at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, Gaudet said.
