On Aug. 28 Digby RCMP were made aware a male was posting on social media that he was going to harm himself.
The Digby RCMP, the RCMP Emergency Response team, police dogs and the RCMP air service were all deployed to the scene on Sunset Drive near Smith’s Cove.
The road was closed to the public for several hours on Aug. 28.
The individual was located and arrested without incident.
RCMP say the man was not a threat to the public at any time during the incident.
