Injuries reported after motorcycle, car collide in Windsor

WINDSOR, N.S. — A car and motorcycle collided outside the Lawtons Drugs location in Windsor Aug. 29, resulting in some injuries.

Police officers, firefighters and paramedics were called to the O’Brien Street accident around 3 p.m. The Windsor Fire Department provided traffic control for about 30 minutes while the RCMP conducted an investigation.

Cpl. Angela Corscadden, a shift supervisor with the Windsor rural RCMP detachment, said there were injuries sustained in the accident — the extent of which are unknown at this time — and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
