Government of Canada provides funding for Hank Snow tribute

The Friends of Hank Snow Society will receive $8,100 in funding under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to celebrate the 24th Annual Hank Snow Tribute.

Gerald Keddy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue and for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Member of Parliament (South Shore–St. Margaret’s), made the announcement today on behalf of the Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

 The 24th Annual Hank Snow Tribute will be presented in Liverpool from August 14 to 17. The tribute features musical performances by local artists and celebrates the country music legacy of the late Hank Snow.
