Quick As A Wink's Faith County II will leave you laughing


WINDSOR, N.S. — Quick As A Wink Theatre will have the audience in stitches with their new comedy.

The Windsor-based acting troupe has brought Mark Landon Smith's farce Faith County II: An Evening of Culture to town. Opening weekend was March 17-19, with additional shows taking place March 24-25 at 7 p.m.

The play transports the audience to Mineola County where a rag-tag community theatre group is piecing together the finishing touches for their opening night of Romeo and Juliet.

The show features the following talented actors from Hants and Kings counties: Carole Ball (Mildred Carson as Juliet), Andy Ashdown (Bubba Bedord as Romeo), Lilly Ashdown (Naomi Carson as Lady Capulet), Melissa Moore (Faye McFaye as the nurse), Geoff Ball (Luther Carson as Naomi's husband and Count Paris), David Foley (Delbert Fink, the backstage handyman), Pam Moore (Ruth Ann Barnes as a bit player, Friar Laurence, and the show's announcer), and Janel Swain (Violet Farkle – the director of Romeo and Juliet).
