GLOOSCAP – Glooscap and Hantsport area residents now have another way to get their ‘za’ fix.

On April 9, 2018, Greco Xpress, located at the Glooscap Gaming facility, 3 Smith Road, opened its doors.

Chief Sidney Peters said they opened the franchise because of the variety of items available on the menu.

The location will offer pizza, donairs, garlic fingers and more, a press release said.

Michael Peters, community economic develoment officer with Glooscap said the location employs five full time, five part time and two student employees.

“Hantsport is a beautiful destination with many tourists passing through during the summer months,” Don Moore, executive vice president of Grinner’s Food Systems Limited, Franchisor of Greco Pizza said. “With a diverse menu, Greco Xpress is able to meet the dining needs of locals and tourists alike.”

Customers will still be able to dial 310-30-30 to order, even though most numbers in Nova Scotia now require 10-digit telephone numbers.

Grinner’s Food Systems Limited, based out of Truro, Nova Scotia, is one of the largest franchising systems in Atlantic Canada. They have over 150 of their restaurant brands operating in the Atlantic Provinces.
