On Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. at Beacon United Church, there will be a Christmas Eve worship by candlelight and a pageant "The Angel Story" by the young people of Beacon.

Fundraiser bingo

New Year’s Eve party

The Boys and Girls Club is throwing a New Year’s Eve party, 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the cotton mill building on Water Street that will feature a casino type atmosphere, dancing with DJ Rob, 20 tables of gaming, balloon drop, prizes and a live auction. Tickets for the "Monte Carlo" can be purchased at the Boys and Girls Club of Yarmouth at 11 Bond St., City Drug Store or at the Cotton Mill Community Center. Prices are $25 a person or $45 a couple.
