Kings RCMP lay charges in weekend domestics
There were nine domestic incidents during the last week in Kings County; two of them resulted in charges of aggravated assault being laid.
The first, in Cambridge, lead to two arrests November 16 when a couple got into a fight. When the woman was struck, her teenaged son tried to defend her.
After he was hit with a two-by-four, the boy knifed his attacker. A 38-year-old man went to hospital. Police found three other children, including an infant, in a back room watching TV and eating French fries.
In Kingston, a 22-year-old woman was also arrested November 15 after she broke glass over her boyfriend’s head. That incident took place about 11 p.m.
