Walk-in Clinics
November 6 Free walk-in clinics 2 to 4 p.m. every Thursday at Hutchin’s Pharmasave, Annapolis Royal. Blood pressure, glucose or cholesterol checked.
Church service
November 6 Church service at New Beginnings Center, 1151 Bridge St., Greenwood at 7 p.m. Bring an instrument and sing a song or two, and also receive some teaching. Everyone welcome.
Women’s Connection

Farmers market

Dinner & auction
November 8 Turkey dinner at the Middleton Baptist Church from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. with auction to follow at 6:30 p.m., adults $10, children $5. Proceeds for “Hearts for the Homeless.” Contact 847-0789.
Lions luncheon
November 8 Kingston Lions monthly community luncheon at their hall from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy a roast turkey dinner and dessert, $8 per person, $8.50 for delivery. Call 765-2128.
Chinese Auction
November 8 A Chinese Auction will be held at the Kingston Lions Hall November 8 hosted by the Mid-Annapolis Valley Kinettes. Doors open at 12 noon. Fall Fair
November 8 The Ecumenical Fall Fair will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Annapolis Royal Fire Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Craft and bake tables from different local churches. Door prizes. Coffee and coffee cake will be served. Admission to Fair is free but Food Bank donations would be appreciated.
Supper
November 8 Roast Beef Supper with home made desserts at the Port George Rec. Center, 4:30-6:30, $10 each. Proceeds for Hillside Cemetery, Port George. Donations greatly appreciated.
Benefit
November 8 At the Brickton Community Hall, 7 p.m., for Kevin Rice who lost several buildings, all tools, etc in a recent fire. Enjoy great music, skits and bake auction. Free will at the door.
Cancer workshop
November 8 The monthly Look Good Feel Better workshop, helping women deal with the appearance related side-effects of cancer and its treatment, meet from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in the private dining room at Valley Reg. Hospital. To register for this free workshop, call 679-2657 ext 2835.
Benefit
November 8 Supper, auction and entertainment at the Centrelea Community Hall, 5:30 to 9 p.m, proceeds for Dale Phillips, a cancer survivor. Enjoy chili, rolls and dessert, free will offering. Also 50/50, auction and music by Caleb Miles and “20 after 4”.
Gospel music
November 9 Old Country will perform at the Mount Hanley Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Fellowship hour will follow the service. Everyone welcome.
Craft show

Family Fall Hike
November 9 Paradise Baptist Family Fun Event. Meet at the church at 2 p.m. to carpool to the Mickey Hill Pocket Wilderness trail system (10 minutes from Annapolis Royal on Hwy. 8). Dress in layers, grab a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and get set to enjoy a beautiful fall hike with the whole family. COGS students are always welcome. Rides available. Remembrance Day
November 11 Service at the Brickton Community Hall at 2 p.m. to honor those from the community who served in past world conflicts. Refreshment to follow ceremony, all welcome.
Legion service
November 11 Middleton Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 001’s Remembrance Day Service at the N.S. Community College, Middleton. Parade falls in at Seniors Complex at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m. Small reception to follow at the Legion.
Remembrance banquet
November 11 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Middleton, reception at 4:30 p.m, banquet at 5:30 p.m. For veterans, members and guests. Tickets ($10) are available at the bar.
Christmas sale
November 12 Come to the St. Johns United Church Christmas coffee party and sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Seniors Party
November 12 Bridgetown and Area Seniors Party at Bridgetown Baptist Church on Monday, Nov. 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. Music, Fellowship, Food and Chatter.
Roast Beef Supper
November 12 Wilmot Baptist Church Annual Roast Beef Supper to be held on November 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Roast beef, vegetables and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Tea and Coffee Adults $10. Children 12 and under $5.
Dutch Auction
November 12 Digby Area Learning Association is hosting their annual Christmas Dutch Auction, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Digby Legion. Come join us for a fun and exciting evening and don't forget to bring in a Christmas item to be acutioned. All funds raised will be used for on-going expenses at the Digby Area Education Centre.

Concert
November 14 Ardyth and Jennifer will perform in concert Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at St Luke's Anglican Church, Annapolis Royal. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 532-0913 or 532-5268 $10 for adults, $8 for students. Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Granville Annex Project.
