RCMP responded to a total of 85 calls in the Annapolis County region during the week of October 13 to 20. Among these were three false alarms, two false 911s, nine motor vehicle accidents, and two domestic incidents.

Residents should note that last week’s 85 calls are dominated by motor vehicle collisions with deer and in one case a bear. Also of interest, a number of the detachment’s members were in Quebec City during the period to assist in operations during the Summit of La Francophonie, which united leaders of the world’s French-speaking countries and peoples.

(Note: Due to the sensitive nature of complaints involving sexual assault, domestic violence, children’s welfare, and mental health, not all calls are considered appropriate for publication.)
