Hello, everyone. How is your September going? Fast? At least it has stopped raining every single day although the cool fall days have arrived quickly. It is hard to know whether to put a sweater on in the morning or not, especially for the kids that don’t want to be bothered with carrying the sweaters home in the afternoon.

The traveler was won by Geraldine Cross and the door prize went to Leo Spinney. Judy Levy won the 50/50 and kindly returned her winnings to the community hall.

Please note there will be two more Tuesdays played in Black River and then card parties will begin Oct. 7 at the White Rock Community Hall. This will make Sept. 30 the last night for cards at the Black River Hall at this time. The turnout has been great and it is wonderful to hear that so much fun has been had by all.
