It will be do-or-die for the Kentville Wildcats in tonight's sixth game of their NSSBL semi-final against the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry.

After dropping the first two games of the series to the Wildcats, Dartmouth has won three straight, the latest a 15-3 romp Friday evening at Beazley Field that gave the Dry a 3-2 series lead and pushed the Wildcats to the

brink of elimination.

Winning pitcher Craig Langille allowed three runs on eight hits in a complete-game performance and his teammates did the rest, scoring three runs in the first, seven more in the second and cruising to the win in a game called in the seventh inning under the 10-run 'mercy rule'.

Dartmouth ended up scoring its 15 runs on 14 hits. Kentville starter Trevor Wamback didn't make it out of the second inning before being replaced by Kevin Daurie. Corey Kent and Taylor Welch also appeared in relief.

Matt Thomas, Chris Head and Chris Goodie all hit home runs for the Dry, with Thomas's blast a grand slam.

For the Wildcats, Curtis Falls had three singles, Ryan Pearl two singles and Brad Steadman a two-run double.

Game six of the series is a 7:30 start this evening (weather permitting) at Memorial Park in Kentville. If the Wildcats should force a seventh and deciding game, it would be a 7 p.m. start Sunday evening in Dartmouth.

Same old story with this team. The biggest choke artists on the planet. How the hell do you win the first two games and then can't win one of the next three? Good luck tonight boys probably facing Bailey...I was looking forward to tonight's game, but now I may not even bother.
