Campbell is a huge Wilf Carter fan. She was born and raised into a musical family in Long Reach, N.B. and even at a young age her interests included guitar and piano. She moved to Riverview in 1964 with her husband and family while continuing her career as an X-ray technician. Fiddle lessons began with Ivan Hicks in 1989 and shortly after she joined the Sussex Avenue Fiddlers.

Three years ago, after retiring, she taught herself yodeling by listening to Wilf Carter and Patsy Montana. Her many accomplishments have included solo performances on a fiddle show, at jamborees, county fairs, national conventions and concerts, parties, seniors’ homes, church services and benefits. She has also been interviewed on radio and television and has traveled extensively with the fiddlers.

Also featured at the Wilf Carter Music Night will be Carl Dalrymple, Caroll Edwards, Dave Harnett, and Fred Shaw.
