Former councillor dies in hospital
Peter Von Possel, a former town councillor and Digby businessman, has died in hospital in Halifax.
He served four years on council, and also served on the Digby Recreation Commission and the town’s water commission. He was a former owner of the Kingfisher Motel.
Von Possel immigrated to Canada in 1956 and worked as a marine draftsman.
He died Aug. 22 in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax.
