Street Punishment will perform at race track
Street Punishment has gotten the “okay” to perform at the Greenfield Raceway located at the South Shore Regional Airport.
“We just got all the necessary documents,” said Region of Queens Municipality Economic Development Director, Brian Baker. “The insurance at the airport is adequate.”
Custom Design Cycles owner, Tony Roy went to the Region of Queens back in January about putting on this event in conjunction with Privateer Days.
The show could not take place on the waterfront because of insurance issues.
Street Punishment will arrive in Liverpool the evening of July 4, stated Roy.
They will be at his shop throughout the weekend.
The group will take part in Karaoke at Alley Nine on July 4, he added. Roy’s custom chopper will be in there as well.
Roy hinted, children between the ages of six and 10 should be in the festival tent just after supper on Saturday.
Street Punishment will be there as his guests and he may have another surprise.
Street Punishment will perform at the Greenfield Raceway July 5 at 2:30 p.m.
Admission is $10.
Roy said there will be burnout competitions and other activities at his shop sometime Saturday evening, July 5.
Now that everything is in place and scheduled to go, Roy has learned, “things can happen in the Region of Queens, if you don’t give up.”
