News conference discussing ferry service
Liberal tourism critic and Digby-Annapolis MLA Harold Theriault is holding a news conference at this moment in the media room of the Liberal caucus office in Halifax.
Theriault will be joined by Hal Theriault, a representative of the Digby Area Tourism Association, to discuss the future of the Bay of Fundy ferry service between Digby and Saint John. The conference was slated to start at 10:30 a.m.

In Digby, motel owner Richard Treleaven has announced a demonstration is planned for Friday at 1 p.m. at the Smith’s Cove Exit 25 to emphasize the ferry is part of essential transportation infrastruture.
