CD launch for Musique de la Baie program
For the first time since its debut nine years ago, the program ‘Musique de la Baie’ has compiled a series of Acadian and Cajun songs, all played by young, local musicians, into an engaging CD.
The CD will be launched June 24 at 7 p.m. in the Salle Marc Lescarbot at Université Sainte-Anne. The evening will be filled with songs recorded on the CD—instrumentals, medleys, classics and originals, as well as a few special crowd pleasers.
Tickets are available at the door and CDs will be for sale after the concert. As well, Germaine Comeau will also be launching the new edition of ‘L’été aux puits secs’ that will also be for sale after the concert.
