Clare man faces charges in conspiracy to commit murder case
Herbert Boudreau, 71, of Concession, Digby County has been charged with counselling to commit first degree murder. and conspiracy to commit murder.
The Clare man was arrested Friday at his residence.
He was remanded in custody until Monday when he was scheduled to appear in provincial court in Comeauville.
Boudreau’s daughter, Nicole Patricia Ryan, also faces charges that she counselled someone (an undercover RCMP officer) to kill her ex-husband, Michael Ryan.
Her father is also set to go to trial in June to face charges that he assaulted his former son-in-law in December.
Nicole Patricia Ryan was arrested last month and was sent for a 30-day psychiatric assessment. She was also expected to be in court in Comeauville on Monday.
