Windsor budget discussions continue April 28-30

Windsor Council began budget deliberations at their April 22 meeting. Two elements of the proposed budget were confirmed. In accordance with the new sewer by-law, a sewage usage rate has been set at $2.04 per 1000 gallons of water. A fire protection charge of 11 cents per $100 of assessed value on tax-exempt properties was also approved Tuesday evening

Further sessions will be held in council chambers Monday, April 28, Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30. All sessions begin at 7 pm and are open to the public.
