Police charge two following McKay Section raid
An adult male and a youth have been charged following a police raid in the McKay Section area last week.

Windsor District RCMP report that they have apprehended a 45-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth while exercising a search warrant at the property.

The charges the two face include: two counts of possession of property known to have been obtained unlawfully; possession of a firearm dangerous to the public; unsafe storage of firearms; breach of probation; and unlawful production of a narcotic, cannabis marijuana, a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). Police say they had located a grow operation on the premises.

During the search, police recovered a quantity of stolen items, including an all-terrain vehicle, a trailer and a number of tools believed to have been stolen in Hants County.

Police have released the suspects, who will appear in Windsor provincial court on the charges at a later date.
