Get some practical solutions from Andrew Garrett of Valley Waste-Resource Management April 24, as the Western Kings Board of Trade hosts its first “lunch and learn” for board members and guests.

April 1, Valley Waste began its clear bags for garbage program in an effort to increase the sorting residents, businesses and institutions do before waste is set out for collection. People may need a refresher on recyclables, compostables, garbage and other returnables now that all is “in the clear.”

Garret’s presentation will be held at noon at the Berwick Seniors Centre, Commercial Street, and will include a light lunch and lots of information for those attending.
