Yarmouth County student names RCMP pup
A young RCMP pup in the force will bear the name given to him by a 15-year-old Yarmouth County student.
‘Ajax' was chosen by West Pubnico resident Mark D'Eon in a nationwide contest held by the Police Dog Service Training Centre in Innisfail, Saskatchewan.
Ten winners were chosen in the competition to name the newest batch of police dog puppies.
D'Eon will receive a photograph of his officially named puppy, a plush dog named Justice, an RCMP ball cap, and a certificate.
