PHOTOS: Fire on Horton Street
Firefighters attended a fire at an apartment building on Horton Street this afternoon. The Port Maitland fire department was called to the scene for extra man power. They were able to get the fire under control after about 30 minutes. Nova Scotia Power was called to cut the power, as is the practice during a house fire. The RCMP were also called to the scene and are treating the fire as suspicious. Michael Gorman photos
