Liverpool book club begins
Thomas Raddall Library in Liverpool will start its first book club, if there is enough interest shown at the first meeting on March 25 at 7 p.m.
“Just the fact that there have been people looking, they come to the library and ask if there’s a book club,” explains library assistant Cate Bird. “I thought well, it’s time we did get one going and see what happens.”

A few book clubs already exist throughout Queens County.

Bird says it will be like most book clubs with everybody reading the same book every month and then they talk about it, “but that’s not the only way it could go.”

“It’s a chance to meet people who enjoy reading,” says Bird.

For more information call the library at 354-5270.

Drop-ins are welcome.
