RCMP issue warning
Beware of black ice
The RCMP have issued a warning in light of a recent accident on Highway 103 attributed to slippery driving conditions caused by black ice.
They remind drivers to be cautious when travelling roads this time of year especially when the temperature is around the freezing point. Black ice can form making a section of the highway very slippery and drivers should reduce their speed and drive with caution. The RCMP also stress that occupants of vehicles should wear their seatbelts at all times.
