Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday
Nova Scotians will experience brighter evenings beginning Sunday, March 9, at 2 a.m., when daylight saving time takes effect. People are reminded to set their clocks ahead one hour.

Last year, Nova Scotia extended daylight saving time to mirror changes made in the United States. Daylight saving time now begins three weeks earlier in the spring and lasts one week longer in the fall.

Computer users are advised to check their calendars to ensure appointments are up to date when the time change takes effect.
