There were 179 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Feb. 21 and Feb. 25.
At 2 a.m. Feb. 21, there was an assault in Wolfville.
There was a collision on Commercial St. in New Minas Feb. 22.
At 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22, a male student from Central Kings High School was hit by a vehicle when he ran across the road to a convenience store. He was transported to Valley Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
A female shoplifter was stopped in Super Store in New Minas with $155 worth of groceries. She also had items from Sobey’s and Sears.
About 10 p.m., several youth were attempting to steal from vehicles on Pinecrest Dr. in Coldbrook. They were chased by neighbours and not located.
The Beehive workshop in Aylesford was targeted by alleged graffiti artists overnight.
February 23, a residence in the Highbury area of New Minas was broken into and, later, a laptop computer was reported stolen from a Belcher St., Port Williams home.
A mother in Kingston was charged with assault after her 17-month-old child was the subject of excessive force.
Three youth were caught stealing from vehicles in Black Rock.
A 2000 Honda Civic was stolen from Hants Border.
Two vehicles were rifled through on the Chipman Brook Rd.
About 9:30 p.m. on the Lakewood Rd. in Steam Mill, an adult male, accompanied by a youth, tried to steal an SUV. When the SUV got stuck in a snowdrift and the owner set out in pursuit, they escaped in another vehicle.
February 24, a red Honda generator and a gas can were stolen from Billtown.
A green 1995 Plymouth van was stolen from Kingston.
There were seven family disputes.
