Liverpool marijuana seizure
Queens RCMP and the South Shore Street Crime Enforcement Unit with the assistance of Police Dog Services searched a Liverpool residence Feb. 1 and seized 55 grams of marijuana.
Queens RCMP executed the search warrant at a Main Street address. Also found was $360 in cash along with other drug paraphernalia and scales.
Charged for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking is 52-year-old Mary Lowe of Main St., Liverpool.
She will appear in Liverpool Provincial Court on April 1.
Milton residents plead not guilty
Two Milton residents who were charged with alleged drug offenses after an Oct. 12 RCMP seizure pleaded not guilty Dec. 4 in Liverpool Provincial Court.
A June 17 trial date has been set.
Queens RCMP with the assistance of the South Shore Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed the Search Warrant.
Charged with producing and trafficking of marijuana as well as the unlawful storage of a restricted firearm are Matthew Whynot, 36, and Jessica Roy, 20.
Seven kilograms of marijuana, 13 plants, growing equipment and a firearm were seized during the search.
