There were 86 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Jan. 21 and Jan. 24.
There was collision on Highway 101 near Avonport Jan. 21 at 8:28 a.m. and another about two hours later.
There was a collision at 9:26 a.m. near Harbourville.
Two youth were caught shoplifting in New Minas at 1:53 p.m.
A driver near Kingston hit a pot hole, then slippery roads and went in the ditch at 3:25 p.m.
A truck was vandalized on Highway 1 in Coldbrook.
Two occupants in one vehicle were slightly injured after leaving the road on Brooklyn St. near North Kentville.
Two adults were stopped while shoplifting in New Minas at 5:51 p.m.
There was a collision on Highway 1 near Cambridge.
An expensive Chinese violin was stolen out of locker on the campus of Acadia University in Wolfville.
January 22, a man was caught shoplifting at Zellers in New Minas.
There was a collision in Weston.
A man was arrested in Wolfville for being in a business despite a protection of property order.
A driver failed to pay for $45 worth of gas in Coldbrook at 4:26 p.m.
There was a two-car collision in Port Williams at 10 p.m.
January 23 at noon, a driver in Cambridge backed onto the road and into another vehicle.
Highway 101 near Kingston was closed briefly after a cement truck dropped some of its load on the road about 12:36 p.m.
A vehicle owner on Queen St. in Canning had tools stolen.
There was a hit and run at the Superstore parking lot in New Minas at 5:43 p.m.
A shed on Sherwood Dr. in Wolfville was reported broken into Jan.23, but nothing appeared stolen.
A teenager in Kingston kicked in a door on Main St. about 7 p.m.
An empty store in Kingston was broken into overnight January 24.
There were three domestic incidents and three mental health calls.
There were two false business alarms, four false residential alarms and four false 911 calls.
There were 128 reports made to RCMP in Kings County between Jan. 24 and Jan. 28.
A New Minas resident reported receiving a fraudulent bank draft January 24.
There was a collision near the Ken-Wo Golf Course in New Minas at 2:37 p.m.
Some cash was stolen during a break-in at a Minas Cres. residence in New Minas.
Early January 25, there was a noise complaint on Acadia St. in Wolfville.
A driver involved in a collision on Brooklyn St. at 2:39 p.m. had no insurance and a suspended drivers’ license.
Gas was stolen from a snow plow truck parked in Glenmont.
There was a call from the Glooscap Arena in Canning asking for patrols. All was quiet at 7:13 p.m., but police were called back when the game ended. There were reports of irate teens and slashed tires.
A 40-year-old man was being a nuisance at the Kingston liquor store, but he was gone when police arrived.
Police in Kingston were also called to the Western Kings Arena.
A hit and run occurred in the Greenwood Mall parking lot.
A drunk was arrested on North St. in Canning at 10:20 p.m. for breach of an undertaking. He was spotted on a private deck and said he’d been in a snow bank for a couple of hours.
January 26, a Kingston resident found a generator and fuel stolen from an unlocked shed.
Police could hear a loud party on Prospect St. in Wolfville from the street when they arrived at 2:26 a.m.
Someone kicked in the doors to a shed and a garage on Princess Cres. in Coldbrook.
There was a hit and run in the post office parking lot in Wolfville
Footprints told police thieves checked five driveways in east Kingston looking to steal a vehicle. They damaged a Ford Ranger and took a 1998 Plymouth.
A lock was cut and tools taken from a garage on at Chipman Corner on Church St.
Police were called about underage drinking in Kingston involving a 15-year-old at 4:22 p.m. Friends said she’d consumed four to 10 ounces of straight rum.
At 11:13 p.m., 20 party-goers were expelled from a party on Prospect St. in Wolfville. They were reported after one was observed urinating on a nearby home.
There was a loud party reported just after midnight January 27 on Kakwa St. in Cambridge.
An estimated 150 people attended a loud party on Highland Ave. in Wolfville, reported at 2 p.m. Police spoke with the five tenants of the apartment.
At 2:30 a.m., a reported came in of the second loud party in a row at a residence on Giffin Crt. in North Kentville.
Two men were fighting at 3 a.m. in the parking lot at the Greenwood Mall.
Children were injured when two vehicles collided on Commercial St. in New Minas at 9:50 a.m.
Antiques were stolen from the Baxter-Dickie house in Canning.
A South Alton resident reported snowmobilers trespassing after lunch.
A caller phoned police with concern about a dog in a parked car in Wolfville, given the low temperatures.
A vehicle went into the ditch at 1:28 a.m. January 28 in Steam Mill.
There were 10 domestic incidents and three mental health calls.
There were 13 false business alarms, six false residential alarms and fine false 911 calls – each wasted an average of 30 minutes’ police time.
