One man has been charged after RCMP seized crack cocaine and a number of firearms from a home in Torbrook on January 10.
Involved in the warrant search of the home were the RCMP’s Southwest Nova Scotia Drug Section, Annapolis RCMP, Annapolis RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit, Digby RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit, CISNS Valley Western Shore, and Southwest Nova Police Dog Section.
“A significant amount of crack cocaine was seized, a number of firearms, and a quantity of cash was seized as well,” said Annapolis RCMP Const. Mike Fewer.
A man and woman were arrested and later released.
Const. Joel Falkingham of the drug section said Monday the man has been charged.
He will appear in Annapolis Royal provincial court in March facing drug trafficking and firearms possession charges.
The investigation is continuing.
