Another generous donation for hospital
Ninety-four year old Eleanor Seeley has made another generous donation to the Queens General Hospital.
Her first donation of $100,000 last May helped with renovations to the hospital’s Rehabilitation Services Department.
She has now donated $100,000 to the hospital to help purchase a Hematology Analyzer.
Residing in Hunts Point, Seeley moved to the region in the early 1970s.
Being one of the founding members of the Queens General Hospital Foundation, she was involved with hospital activities for many years.
The South Shore Health Board noted, in its meeting notes, they were extremely grateful for Seeley’s generosity.
