Police nab four youths on B&E-related offenses

Four young persons, all males, were charged Thursday, Dec. 13 in connection with a number of break and enter occurrences that took place between Nov. 15 and Dec. 3 in Mount Uniacke.
Windsor District RCMP and Halifax RCMP Street Crime Unit made the arrests as a result of a joint effort.
The first male is charged with two counts of break, enter and theft, two counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and one count of breach of probation.
The second male is charged with four counts of break, enter and theft, three counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of possession of stolen property.
The first and second males were remanded in custody and appeared in Kentville Provincial Court Dec. 13.
The third male is charged with three counts of break, enter and theft. The fourth is charged with two counts of break, enter and theft and one count of possession of stolen property.
The third and fourth males have been released on conditions and are to appear in Windsor Provincial Court Friday, Jan. 25, 2008.
All of the young persons involved are between the ages of 16 and 17 years and all are from the Lower Sackville area. Police advise property has been recovered.
