Valley students receive Royal Conservatory of Music silver medals
Three Valley residents have received Royal Conservatory of Music silver medals for top marks in RCM examinations in the Atlantic Region for 2007. The three include Centreville resident Benjamin Potvin, Grade 6 violin, teacher Christy Hodder; Elizabeth Fox, Kentville, Grade 8 pipe organ, teacher Nancy Fraser; and Steven Griffin, Kentville, Grade 8 voice, teacher Nancy Denton. The awards ceremony took place at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts, Halifax, Saturday, Nov. 24.
