Yarmouth's Stephen Shaw scores a hat-trick during 8-4 loss
Yarmouth’s Stephen Shaw had a hat-trick during one of two road games for the Atom A Mariners against Acadia teams on Oct. 20.

Still, the Yarmouth team fell to defeat twice.

At the Glooscap Arena in Canning, Yarmouth lost their first game 8-4. Assisting Shaw on his three goals were Johnny O'donnell, Quinten Johnson and Colby Muise. Yarmouth’s other goal in the game came from Matthew Hines (Colby Muise).

Later in the day the Yarmouth Atom A team played an Atom AA team from Acadia at the Acadia University arena. Acadia came out on top 8-3.

Yarmouth goal scorers were Matthew Hines (Colby Muise), Cameron Wallace (Shayna Heroux and Matthew Hines) and Maguire Breton (Matthew Hines and Hunter Hurlburt).

Yarmouth had a more successful outcome during their first game of the season on Oct. 13 when Yarmouth had a 4-2 win over Barrington.

Scoring for Yarmouth were Jean Guy LeBlanc (Maguire Breton), Tyler Greene (PP, Shayna Heroux), Matthew Hines (PP, Tyler Greene) and Steven Shaw (Jacob Surette).

In net for the Mariners was Luc Emin.
