Cheer club holds competition in Berwick

The Annapolis Valley Cheer Club hosted a competition April 26, which saw the Reign, Conquer and Revolution teams come in second, while Rebellion, Dominate, Victory and Courage placed first. The Tiny Team also performed, while the Junior Revolution team won the best jump award and Open Reign won the best dance award. The group will now compete at provincials in Truro May 3.

The Annapolis Valley Cheer Club will hold its sixth annual spring showcase at Central Kings on May 10 at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and children under five are free. All teams and classes will perform.

AVCC will wraps up the season with an awards banquet May 13. 
Fully competitive team placements take place on June 7 in Berwick.
