A win at home was not to be for the Acadia women’s volleyball team on the last weekend of the regular season.

The Axewomen lost to the visiting Varsity Reds in four sets Feb. 8 in Wolfville: 25-18, 13-25, 26-24, 25-16.

Rebecca Glancy was player of the game for UNB, while graduating Acadia senior Kristen Bolduc posted 11 kills, two assists, four digs and four block assists to earn Acadia’s player of the game honours.

The Axewomen play Saint Mary’s in Halifax Feb. 10 before they head to Dalhousie for the championship tournament next weekend.
