David Bambrick was raising funds to conribute to his Paralympic dreams during the Feb. 27 Acadia Axemen hockey game.

 Paralympian David Bambrick says he’s grateful for the $1,000 he received towards his training costs during the Feb. 27 Acadia men’s hockey game.

The former manager for the Axemen auctioned off a signed jersey and accepted donations during the game.

Bambrick, who competes in shot put and discus, is headed to Florida March 4 to 19 for a training camp.
